What is the BDE Course?
BDE or Beginner Driver Education is a course provided by a ministry certified course provider to teach new drivers online (theory) and certify you once course is complete.
How long does the course last from start to finish?
The 10 hours in car and 20 hours online must be completed within 365 days from the day of enrolment if you wish to be certified at the end.
Can I start my online lessons without my G1 license?
Yes you can start your online lessons before getting your G1, however, you will need the G1 to commence in car driving lessons.
When can I start my online classes?
The online course is a self paced course which means you can start and finish at your own convenience.
How soon can I sit my G2 test?
If you complete the online BDE Course and 10 hours of in car training, you can sit your G2 test 8 months after acquiring your G1. If not, you can do it 12 months from the day you got the G1.
How can I get insurance discounts?
When you enroll at Driveable Canada and complete our online BDE Course + 10 hours in car training you will receive an MTO Certificate which provides the insurance discounts.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes, we offer group discounts for groups of five (5) or more students.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take debit, credit, bitcoins, and cash.
How does your payment plan work?
You will make your initial payment before starting and the final payment at lesson 4 of your in car.
Where do I get my driver education certificate from?
After you complete 100% of your online course and in-car sessions, the certificate is issued by the Ministry of Transportation and done through the service Ontario office closest to you.
